I think that guy actually set his screed sticks with screws driven through the floor, which means they went through the liner as well.
Thank goodness he covered the holes with concrete. 
Edit:. I went back to look at the comments and it turns out he just drove the screws into the sticks just enough to be able to remove them. They were never attached to anything.
That was almost impossible to see at the speed the video was going.

Clare Torry originally did this piece for Pink Floyd and was told just to "Wing It," and she did that It was about the three stages of death.
In 1990, she reprised it with the group before the passing of Richard (Rick) Wright, their keyboardist. Enjoy....

When I lived in Washington, I spent many happy hours at Blues Alley. I saw this concert and was moved by this lady. Eva Cassidy died all too young at 33 and the record companies tried quite hard to figure out what venue to place her in. She transcended the standard categories....but this was one of her best...about a month before her death.
