She doesn't say a damn thing about my silvery prose; nothing about my sparlkling "homey" vernacular. No, she want's to know about the niches.

Other pros have posted pictures of unusual and interesting niches in the past. Maybe we can get some repeats. Mine are pretty mundane in comparison to some of the really stellar designs I've seen.

Here's a pic of one I did a couple months ago. I was saving it for the next book, but what the hey. . . .

This was done for a husband and wife who do not share soap, shampoo or any of the other sundries you find in people's showers. My usual two compartment niche just wouldn't do the job for them.

Kerdi shower. It's getting so I dread mud. Won't be able to call myself a mud man much longer.

Well John, you have near enough Photo's for a great tile photo album.
Your not really going to write another tile installation book are you??
How about a Best from the Forums or you could team up with Bob and do a series on Engineers,Rocks and other tile essentials

Good idea. Bob would really love to write a book, and his wife wants him to so she can hand out autographed copies to her friends.

Whadaya think, Bob? Can we work tile setting into the engineering files saga? I've got a killer opening line: "It was a dark and dreary day."

Yep, it's rounded and bullnosed a little. We make them out of marble tiles or any piece of marble that's handy. I trace them out with a pencil, and Albert cuts and polishes.
