Finished a ledge stone kitchen backsplash in Odessa, Florida with American Olean "Rockland Stone - Soft Sand". I removed the 4 inch splash. This material was only about a half inch thick so the outlet covers went back on really easy.

Looks nice Brian. Two questions: did you tile behind the control panel area of the stove, or go around it? And have you ever had callbacks for grease or food stains on ledgerstone tiles? I have very similar in my bedroom and it doesn’t get much in the way of dirt, but I do vacuum it to keep household dust down.

My first thought was what happens when something like spaghetti sauce gets splashed on there.

I pulled the stove out and tiled behind it.
The customer said they were going to spray a penetrating sealer over it with a spray bottle. If they do it or not that’s up to them.

Pools and spas are a whole nother animal ! Love to see mud in action. Do post the finished pics with the time involved from start to finish. Most pool guys up here couldn't do that type of pool/spa. Squares and rectangles are it. Awesome work.

Should I ever need a pool tiled, Jerry, you're just gonna hafta learn to travel.

I'm curious why you'd tile that portion of the floor before the bench above it. Doesn't appear you used the same sequencing on the bench areas.

Been awhile since I posted any work. This was a tub wrap for a builder's home. I wasn't sure about the selection...but it came out great.
