Crumbling travertine

Hello everyone. New to the forums. I have a shower with beautiful 1x1 travertine tile. Unfortunately it was cleaned with an acidic cleaner a while back and now there are several tiles that have crumbled a little. It doesn’t look that bad but I’d like to extend the life of it as much as possible. Do you think a solvent based sealer such as Stonetech impregnator would help?

I don't think it will. You could chisel out those tiles and replace them and possibly buy more time but that's a guess since I don't know the substrate behind the tiles. That's a poor choice to use in a shower.

Maybe a filler or grout?

You can refill with grout, may hold, may not. That was most likely what came out in the first place. Thats the last stop for materials, mosaics, and you get the bottom of the rung material wise. In the future always use a neutral ph cleaner for stone
