So, Gibson Guitars should "Move to Madagascar???"

Funny about how Gibson Guitar Co contributed to the Conservatives....while Martin contributed to the Libs. Swat teams with guns drawn descended on their factory with the excuse that the ebony wood they used (the same wood that Mertin used) was illegal for import. The CEO for Gibson has documentation that the ebony fingerboards were, in fact, totally legal and has the papers to prove it.

What were they told? "Well, if you move your facilities to Madigascar, no problem." Very nice....more American Jobs that the current Administration wants to outsource. And they ask us why we're pissed?

I think that the Conservative Senators ought to bring Gibson guitars to BHO's newest speech...and strum them.

Here's the interview with the CEO.

Heaven help us all, i hope everyone who voted for this ass is watching the destruction of one after another job making enterprises here in our country.

How about four, not one, but four, American windmill producers going under,so much for green jobs from mister green jeans.

The quashing of mergers, the hassling of Boeing, the destruction of what's left of the manuf. sector, the lack of support for new and small business,I cannot wait for this next round of qe,3...errrr jobs bill!!!

With the current administration, success at any level is punished and failure is rewarded.

Unbelievable.

It doesn't surprise me after reading the EPA is banning personal inhalers because they deplete the ozone, but good for the lungs.

(Reuters) - Gibson Guitar Corp.'s chief slammed the U.S. government on Wednesday for sending armed agents to raid two Tennessee factories under a law aimed at curbing the illegal harvest of tropical hardwoods.

"Armed people came in our factory ... evacuated our employees, then seized half a million dollars of our goods without any charges having been filed," Gibson CEO Henry Juszkiewicz told reporters and others at a Washington lunch.

"I think it's a clear overreach," he said.
