stacked stone veneer

Am planning on putting up stacked stone veneer (6" x 24" pieces) on an 7' wide x 9'high wall. I will use 1/2" cb backer board. Do I need to use anything more than modified thinset? How high can I go before I have to let it set for a day and continue on ? Can I go the entire height in one day?

Hi Joe,

You can go as high as you want in one day if the thinset sets up, and they don't sag. Use one of the non-sag thinsets.

Joe, are you a pro or a newbie? Maybe you hit the wrong forum. We can move this thread.
