My weather story’s somewhat similar to Davy’s 10 posts back or so.

I'm about 75 miles North of Seattle, we get sun 3 or 4 times each winter normally with a little wind thrown in. Seems like we have a lot of close calls during the winter, it'll rain like mad then start to clear as the temperature soars to above 43-44 F. It'll only last a few days before that blue patch disappears. There are always exceptions, like 1983 when it when the sun came out for two weeks straight. Scared the hell out of us. How can that thing possibly live, we said pointing up towards the sky. It only has one eye!

It's beyond me how you do it, Todd.

It's WAY beyond me as to why.

I won't call you stupid, cause we have August in Texas. That would make me double dumb, huh?

I've got a roof open and it just started raining, so..... bye..........

Yep, thats american temperatures not celsius
They want to fool us into believing its really not that cold
So what does -40F equate to in celsius?? Thats whats headed our way in january. Why do you think i am heading to Texas and went to mexico in feb last year for a week.
Incidently i missed the coldest week of the year when i was in Cabo.they had -25 daytime highs all week.
It was a balmy -5 when i returned from the low 80's in Cabo.

Mmm, Todd? Minus forty is minus forty, don't matter which thermometer you're using, F or C. That's the easiest conversion on the scale.

CX

the easiest conversion is:

anything less than 10 celsius= time to find some place warmer
