Nice clean lines Mark.
Good work as always Jack.
I always tell my apprentices that everyone makes mistakes. I take pride in my work but can still pick at it sometimes. I believe the more experienced you get the better you are at smoothing over those mistakes.

Heres a couple of pics from a house that I finished this past weekend. It was a lot of very contemporary in a very rural area of Ky. Job was about 3 hours away from the house, by far the farthest I have traveled for work. All showers are Kerdi. It was spec'd for the job. Nobody locally had ever used it, let alone heard of it. Felt like I was giving a Schluter class in each shower. One day I had the carpenters watching me. Next shower had the plumber and brick guy. Even had the local tile guys show up and asked a bunch of questions about it.
Any ways, heres some pics.

In the top left pic, what pattern did those mosaics come in. Just curious what the sheet patern was to line up all them circles like that.

Thanks everybody for the kind words.
Jack, that is an example of coal money going into the second generation. You can literally see that house up on the hill over looking the Walmart in Pikeville from the next town. No kidding!
Laz-me too.
Levi, I never took a pic of a single sheet. Will attach a pic of some sheets prior to grouting. The best way to describe it is the little "square" where they intersect is in the center of a 12x12 sheet. The tile is from Akdo, went together very well. Since I am done with the job, it went together to scaringly easily. Shh, do not tell her that.
House had a lot of glass and 12x24 on running bond. All design was very contemporary. The homeowner was great to work with and very open to any tweaking on the fly. I need to get some more pics off the camera. I really enjoyed this project. Only downside was the time away from the family. Opened my eyes to any idea of taking the company on the road though. Though, if the money is right, will travel again. Just not anytime soon, maybe.

I know what you are saying about the travel Greg. Most of my work is in a town 240 miles away one direction. I stay in a hotel when I am up there, but I do a ton of work in the 70-120 mi away area and I drive those each day.
I don't really have the choice though as I moved about 18 mos ago and am having a real hard time getting my foot in the door where I live now. I am getting the referrals and bids, just not landing a large % of the work.
