Brian, I normally do but this particular stuff is bad bad. Most pieces are trapezoidal and off sized. I don't know if this is a new cheaper version of the Montagna series. It's called Montagna Lugano from HD.
All the other Marrazi Montagna stuff has been ideal.
This one was 1.69 per sf, seems cheaper than usual.

I used it a while back at it was fine for me.
there's the Montagna, Cortina - Bulluno - Soratta & Lugano in that line.

this floor is the mix like yours.

I love that radius wall shower. I was impressed with your patience in kerdi banding it (if it's the one I'm thinking of)

The 2 x 2's are great. It's the 12's I'm having issues with. It may just be a bad batch. There's not a square tile in that thing but you can't tell unless you're me.

I just did a shower today with that Lugano stuff from home depot. Thing I don't like is that you can't cut it with the snapper! Every darn piece on the saw. Oh well.

yeah Jason it is brittle and convexed/sprung or whatever you want to call it.
when you cut it on the bar cutter it whips and breaks into a death point..lol

Here's Julie's "Work In Progress ...."

Some people do some pretty interesting stuff with mosaic tiles ...!

The Artist's description of her work:

"My work utilizes the innate opulence of mosaic materials – 24k gold smalti, marble, semi-precious stones – to embellish sculptural forms in unexpected ways. The discovery of dentalia shells inspired the densly-packed and fragile under skirt.

La Corrente, (The Current in Italian) is about beauty amidst destruction. The sea kelp adorning her gown swirls in the strong gulf currents. Giant Asian Sea Kelp is an invasive species threatening the balance of plant and marine life in the region. While man overtly destroys the gulf with oil, pollution and fertilizer runoff, another destructive force creeps in with the current."

Looks like we got to revive this thread. Hey Henry that should be in the other thread...! How the heck am I supposed to follow that kind of work Maybe no one has posted for that reason, may I say she got patience and skills!

I started a project before I went to your facility Henry for the Mud Seminar 2010, love the t-shirt BTW. Thanks for letting us do it, Daniel and the rest of the crew made us really comfy. Great course, next year Bethany would be ideal and not just cause I don't want to drive 20 hours again

My project, at my Godfather's, nothing fancy. He has terminal cancer and has been hanging on for some time. He spoke of doing tile on the back porch on a platform I built bout 5 years ago and I didn't hesitate. I have tiled all 10 bathrooms in the home so no more inside work. I had to take the carpet off, aluminum, plywood, and remove a few 2X4's. I added some 2X4's, new plywood, cement board, with Hydro Ban, finished pics in a couple days.

The carpet had worn through and water had gotten through the alum at the overlapping seams, into the plywood and lil bit into the 2X4's, didn't know the damage till I started tearin it up. Thought I was gonna be able to go over the aluminum.... not!

Gram- very nice! Sorry to hear you're slow, at least we know it's not because of poor workmanship.
