yes I would agree CX, completion certainly shows you made progress
nah not gonna ask Trask to do anything, this thread has been a hit amongst everyone and if it ain't broke don't fix it
speaking of progress we finished up the shower, we did the wine mural splash in the same home probably about 10 years ago behind the basement bar area. So this morning you get to see the fiberglass surround we started with and this afternoon you get to see the finished shower........ talk about progress.....

Grinding away slowly at this bath remodel. Today the granite fabricators were putting in the tub deck and the vanity tops.
Can someone flip this for me? not sure why it did that.

Warped 6" x 36" , Porcelain Tile
Like I said in title WARPED, I just want to do a job where the tiles are flat!!! With that being said everything turned out awesome and customers loved it, thankfully they were understanding about the dust, had to pull up 500 sq. of old ceramic tile, which came up easy.

Almost every room,yes. The master bedroom,and one of the bedrooms is cork,and the two bath outfloors are staying original tile.
Ray=Rich? I've used "tuning"/lippage tools four about 4-5 years now,when warranted etc.
T-Day progress......

Very nice work.....although I probably would have encouraged them into a stagger joint.....but, that's just me.

I did a tile just like that a while back and started with a 3rd bond,but the tile had warpage that was so bad that I had to grid it. Personally I have started to like 12x24's on a grid more than the step look

Laz..... I laid out several patterns/options,prior to setting. I laid it out running bond,staggered,herringbone,and straight lay. It was also mentioned to the designer and homeowner,the slight warpage of the tile,if was to be laid running bond etc (you could put a two ft level on em,and the level would spin like a top,showing the bow lol)
I personally liked the herringbone,but the designer and/or homeowner chose straight(much easier to lay too,verses herringbone) I even showed the designer basketweave for giggles,and was somewhat surprised she had never heard of that pattern(for that matter she had never seen a green bagster bag lol)
My personal feelings regarding that tile is....it belongs on a wall and/or shower....I personally would never put it on a floor,and in the matter of straight lay. But that's just me
The designer says it brings "energy" into the room....never heard tile doing that before,but I'm all for positive energy lol.
