Paul, how do you install tile with that thing?

Stephen, it's the new ValueSeal. All seams and edges had 2 beads of Noble 150 sealant (the blue stuff) although they do OK thinset seams with that product. The drain is the Noble Freestyle- my first time using it and it's a really nice and well made drain.

A few pics of last weeks shower. Nothing extra ordinary. Re-framed the knee wall to fit the new tub splash. Recessed niche and panel installed as requested. Another day at the office lol.

We now have a driveway / parking area. No more mud !

Today we are prepping the floors for Ardex self leveler over plywood. Yesterday I found a 80 grit flap sanding disc on the right angle grinder made very short work of grinding down the drywall mud, dirt, and accumulated junk on the plywood subfloor. Took about 2 hours to sand and vacuum 800 square feet by myself. I could also grind down any high spots at the same time.

Paul we use a large Dewalt grinder with 80 grit and a vacuum hood. Works great. We recently did 1,300 ft of wood plank over wood subfloor. The grinder makes quick work and the results are nice and clean.

I've been a long time lurker but recently decided to join. I work for a large commercial tile company and I just finished a large project for them, the last phase was ~18,000 feet of 12x24's and a water jet logo stuck in the entry way.

The water jet work was done by Dal-Tile, they couldn't have made it any easier on me with how detailed they made the drawings/instructions. The mosaic was only half the thickness of the large tile so after we dry laid it for approval, I then stuck a drill bit in at the center point, hooked a schluter strip on to said drill bit and swung a radius with a sharpie. We tiled past the radius, then redrew the radius on top of the tile, cut it wet with a 4 1/2" blade, floated the middle flat, then finally laid the logo back in. It was a lot of work, but I was so happy it all worked out in the end.
