Nice work as usual Brian. Did the glass guys drill into your curb? Or just silicone? And who knows for sure?
I did one where they swore they didn't drill. The glass broke and low and behold - they drilled. Just a pack of lying liars that lie.

They are solid brick so it wouldn't matter, and were on slab.
They dont on the horizontal surface but do on the vertical.
He pumps silicone in and then the track then glass.

Test
Think I somewhat figured it out,and requirements for this site. Camera phone ok,cuz MB small enough to upload. When I try with pics from Nikon Camera,it won't process cuz pics bigger than 2MB.
Off to state of Wash, looking forward to cooler weather!!!

Rich, I use this image resizer that Joe Gleason, I think, turned me onto. It's super easy and fast. All you do is right click on the image and hit the resize button and it's done. Check it out if you want.
Welcome to Washington. Mid 80's over the weekend here in the western side.

Marge, those are 12X36 Boxcars from Crossville. The floor I cut down to 12X18 to accommodate the slope in this barrier free shower. Nelson, exactly ..... improvement is the name of the game. Eventually we need to do that to the master bathroom as well. That one is blue fiberglass

I might also add the MLT was of great assistance for tuning these to get them 99.9% lippage free....... walls as always were not plumb, plumb enough to tile onto

The whole glass door thing scares me too, especially since my showers are almost all kerdi over sheetrock these days. It really leaves a guy at the mercy of the shower door guy having enough sense to silicone the screw penetrations. Drilling into the curb really makes me cringe... Again, have to hope they use adequate silicone. I almost always tell the HO to relay that message to their glass people too. I feel a little better with that since I figure they'll put the smack down being their own shower.
Great work as always guys!

The lady of the house wanted a waterproof shower. Kerdi board to the rescue.

Fixed a glass tile bs which the previous installer screwed up. We told the lady of the house to mark the Oceanside tiles she didn't like. 89 failed the test.
