Thanks I did do a little reading on em. It says they have a 16 joint when used. Anyone know of something like that with a 1/32 joint for marble etc?

Not realistically going to get less than a 1/16" grout line using TLS, and I'm betting any of the other systems either.
I try to stay clean, but there is always a bit of thinset it seems that gets behind the strap. That plus the thickness of the strap, and I don't think I am able to push two tiles closer together than 1/16". At least not without making a big effort.

Jamey, the TLS is actually 1/32". Their 1/16" is just a recommendation for minimum joint width based on industry standards for getting the grout down in there.

Yeah. I always used 1/16 spacers and no matter how hard I try the grout lines always manage to look like 1/8 when it's all said and done. I started using the tavy 1/32 and it looks much better and is now around a 1/16. On marble it's more accurate. Generally I just use round tooth picks. I would like to try that TLS and see how it goes. Seems a bit expensive though.

The fencing is to keep the Jack Russells in. We foster. There is also a ring of cement pads buried around the perimeter so they can't dig their way out.
