Maybe a little more clarity about the shower itself. The shower is probably about four feet wide by 6 ft long, it has glass walls, on top of short tile walls, that reach to about a foot and a half below the ceiling. In the larger room there's a toilet closet, for lack of a better term, which does have an exhaust fan in it and the exhaust fan is on constantly. That toilet closet is about 8 ft from the shower door. We are in Orange County California. After using the shower the floors and walls are visibly dry within a half hour or less. Besides the window in the shower stall, there is another window in the same larger room. The pictures above are all taken with the shower having recently been rinsed out so everything is slightly wet, but no standing water. I'm thinking about getting some pads for my angle grinder, or use the polisher I have from harbor freight. Both are variable speed, with speeds as low as 3000 RPMs on the angle grinder, and maybe lower than that on the polisher from harbor freight. As far as trying to clean it to this point, I think the last owner used some toilet bowl cleaner on it, and also some citric acid. I don't know that the areas I've previously thought were mold on the floor are mold, but I don't know what they are. Yesterday I scrubbed with OxiClean, but it didn't seem to make a difference at all on the dark spots. I do believe the previous owner also used bleach on the walls and floor. I will see if I can get some pictures of it dry.
