Kerdi Line drain question

Had a quick question on their line drain. I am looking at their price sheet.
kerdi-line.com/pdf/KL-PriceSheet.pdf
Do I need to order both the bonding flange AND a grate assembly to have a complete drain? Looking at the pictures the bonding flange looks like it is only a frame, is it actually the "stainless steel channel body" they mention in the description?

I'm interested in frameless tileable look shown on kerdi-line.com. I have roughly 28" wall to wall. Do I need to order item #KLV 60 E 60 AND item #KLC 19 EB 60 to achieve this? I'm horribly confused! Thanks for any help you guys can give me!

Eric, as I understand it the lengths given are nominal. So for the 28" drain you would need a 30" opening. If all you have is a 28" opening then you would need to go with the 24" drain which would require a 26" opening. And yes, you will need to order both the frame and the grate to have a complete drain.

Not sure what your total shower dimensions will be, but keep in mind it must exceed 900 sqin, the door opening must be at least 24", and personally, 28" is tight between shower walls. for the average person, that makes it tough to bend over and pick something up, or to wash all parts!
