Nice work Scott.

Regarding the 45's going into the corner.... Just curious which is the preferred method for everyone. Personally I like to "mirror' the cuts in the corner instead of using the cutoff from the last piece. I've done it both ways, just curious what everyone else does.

I use to use any old peice in years past, but this was the first job that i tryed to use the cutoff peice to fold the corner.

I will fold them for now on because i think it looks better that way.

Todd I use the cut offs too. In my mind ( which is scary place ) the corner should look like it was originally flat and then folded into a 45 or 90 degree corner.

Just finished this floor today, nothing fancy but I did like the choice of tile, something different. The 14" worked out really good for the layout, full pieces east to west. 350 sq. ft. total, goes into laundry room as well and top a steps. Tore out existing vinyl and luan. Used ditra & hemp grout. Did a shower couple years ago for homeowners and she was sick of cleaning the vinyl, can't blame her. Used AE 100 Profile tile to carpet.
