I don't like plank tile. I've done a bunch of the stuff. Its never flat and neither is the concrete around here.

yeah Chad says the concrete work is horrible in Ca, I guess it's not that bad here.

a good quality plank tile that isn't bent, a 1/2" trowel and a little back-buttering and your fine.

Well with all the fabulous tile work they have there in Florida, they must have perfect slabs to set it on

What a difference in those before and after pics. The home owners must be thrilled.

John,

She got home a little early at 4 when we were leaving and I walked here through the First 1/2 of the house we did this week. She was ear to ear smiles and loving it.

Yeh but what did she think about the tile

One heckofa transformation, nice work Brian I can see why she was all smiles. Nice choice too on the wood finish, or should I say tile finish. Do you like workin with that tongue & groove......lol

I would think with that size a tile the slab floor would need to be money. Did you have to do any grinding

That is one of the main reasons I LOVE tile. Usually no matter how frustrated the h/o is with the building process/remodel when I finally get done and they see it they are all smiles. It is a rewarding trade that is for sure

Good job as usual Brian
