Cameron, really neat project. I really like that frame something we don't see here, yes we see mosaics once and while but that frame, really commands your attention. What else is in that room around that mosaic, is it a residential home?

nice one joe
great attention to detail . . . I typically like to see the niches as a feature,
but it's very hard to argue with the pattern continuity through them-- that's
a nice look and a lot of effort . . . way to go

Joe- Very Nice !
I'm sure the walls were $2 the deck was a floor so closer to $1 per ft. And I'm sure the super figured you should knock it all out in a 4-5 days.
Seriously. I like niches that disappear. And not only did you run the pattern through but you made sure (you didn't loose the leftover piece of stone) the veining and color tone matchup too.
What kind of prep did you do on the deck? Seeing that you are someplace that gets cold in the winter and hot in the summer.
Looks like a tile with a lot of texture, I'm sure you will have fun grouting.

I started a thread on that exterior patio...Well, I laid out the options for everything and apparently, there isn't enough money to install a membrane of some sort. So, i installed it directly over concrete (cause "we never had a problem before" they say) and will be cutting through into the cut joints in the concrete. Silicone by the house and pillars and expansion joints.
I actually bought a gallon of grout release cause there is a bit of texture on the surface. it will be a treat to grout, that's for sure.

Joe,
Looks like a really nice home, they got the right guy to do the tile work. We can all appreciate the time you took on that shower. Another example of the foresight, skill, and patience it takes to get a project like that done, and get it right, while the Soup is asking ya every day......."u done yet?"
Another example of your superior craftsmanship, we are looking forward to learning from you down at the Mud Bowl
