I might be the only one but I think the all white will look sweet. It'll make that mosaic really pop.

I'm not sure how anyone else does it but I taped off the white tile and grouted all the dark blue then came back the next day and did the opposite. I think if you do the white first you would have a hell of a time keeping the dark from bleeding into it. With the dark first I was able to essentially wipe off any white that bled into it after I took the tape off.

Sal I had to do a double take..looks like a mastic bucket. What thinset thinset do you stick the ditra with.
Looks like a good job..I like havent been seeing many floors of any size lately..Lots of small complicated floors that everyone whats for cheap. They kill me.

Yes Brian, the island had to go in before the tile, but the GC took off the four post to make it a little easier to cut around. Time consuming but not to bad.

Sal, really nice work
Trask and Pooky, thanks for the late night opinions
Talked to the HO's and they agreed we need to go multi color - change order - upcharge
still doing #44 bright white on the white tile (alla Chad - I agree with you) and maybe TWO other colors
Pencil liner could be #91 slate grey, #42 Platinum, or #53 Twilight Blue (all Lati. colors)
Glass could go with one of the above or #34 Sandstone. (brings the floor in)
Opie - glad you can appreciate the work that went into this one. Looks easy but was not!!!

Which nightmare? There's more than one. Oh, the offset brick thingy. First I gotta make a bunch of custom rhomboids, the fun never stops.
You "cheated" for all he right reasons, that shower kicks ass!
EDIT- And you use green tape- my favorite!
