Been working on this for a while. Any suggestions on what to charge for this kind of work? Customer just said do it. So now I'm nearing completion and wondering if anyone else has done something similar. First one for me.

I was very glad for my Gemini on this one.

I was thinking I'd bill by the hour, but wondered if you guys charge anything different when you start doing stuff out of the ordinary.

This looks great!! I'd be apt to bill somewhat normal then add a time and trouble factor on top. The detail involved is magnificent and should be additionally compensated for.....An extra for the how much did I bleed factor as well . Like the homeowner said...."just do it"...If they don't squirm a bit you left $ on the table.

Thanks Greg! It was fun doing this one, but you're right there was more mental anguish associatiated with this one. I told the HO I wouldn't do one for their neighbors so they have bragging rights. They actually have only seen the picture I put on here and won't see the shower for another 2 months because they winter over on Miami beach. I guess I'll just try to be fair for all the time it took. Sometimes I look at these pictures guys put on here and hope they do charge extra for these art projects.
