Heavy Monday. We have been installing 1500sf of 3" thick Belgard pavers. The weight in pavers alone is 50,000 lbs. Luckily the weather has been good to us.

I know and I couldn't resist the bait- actually 59 for a low here is pretty rare. I'm enjoying it.

Brian,
Those temps reminded me how cool I keep my fridge.
And I'm 'borrowing' your pic of the hydrobarrier with blue tape for our readers.

Had either my hands full or the I-phone was plugged into the radio playing the Everlast station on Pandora is the reason for no action photo's.
Three of us started last monday we started this patio by floating over the old patio with sand mix 80 bags all mixed fast and perfectly with 2 guys,a good drill and the deck mud auger. I glued the mud to the patio using a mix of crete and sand mix spread on the concrete with a 1/4" notch. I used a 10' straight edge to flash everything flat and in areas that only needed a scim I used 254 rapid set thinset and feathered things in.
Day 2 Three of us coated the entire patio with prp 315 and started setting it with Customs mega-lite thinset.
Dat 3,4, and 5 today set
Tomorrow I'll do the two steps and landing to the back door and sweep some black sand into the joints and then flood the tile and joints with this special glue sealer magic happy, expensive stuff $1700 for 50 gallons
Does anyone have experiance with this?

That looks great Rod, I'd love to try something new like that for a change. Next time you do one I'll trade Rafa places for a day eh. I guarantee I'm not as fast or as hard a worker as him though.

Mark, This was a heavy job. Me, Rafa and Jason 3 days setting 16 pallets weighing 3000 lbs each only covering 90sf thats 33lbs per foot. the 16x16's weighed 58lbs. We are hurting. Hoping the three G's keep these pig's down.
Pay was really good on this one. I got it from a brick friend.

Those bad boys have some wide joints.
We sand set them down here and have tight joints to hold them.
No need for thinset or PRP.

Great job Rod, that took some serious muscle I'm sure.
Brian, nice clean job as always. Been meaning to try out that grout but haven't found any place locally yet.

it wasn't bad grout. hard to spread since it kept falling off the float and wall.
it did set up fast on the face of the tile. I had to wash within 5 ins after spreading with a dry sponge. but clean up after the initial wash was easy since there are no color pigments to keep smearing around.
I have used the StarQuartz stuff on a number of jobs and its the same stuff.
