Finished the Bath

Between the use of these forums and John's book I finally finished my Bathroom this weekend. Quite pleased with the final look and most importantly the wife is happy. Used Mapeii Opticolor grout which was tough to apply but not to bad removing. The Noble Niche was a challenge to tile but it came out great.

Bob, really nice job on that tub surround. And the bonus of wifey liking it too!! You'd never know you were challenged by the niche...looks excellent.

Looks great - on the outside corners of the niche, is that just grout or is there something else there?

Thats bull nosing with the grout at edge. Niche was 3 1/2" deep and Bull nosing was 3". So I ripped it down make it look more even. The grout being same color as bull nose edge helps too.

it looks to me that the edge of the tile has the same color as the grout you used. good job at picking the right grout.
sometimes with tile with a lighter edge then the tile people pick an ugly grout and it gives a shadow look.
