Miracle Sealants washing machine help?

After working with the Miracle Sealants 511 Porous Plus Sealer on granite throughout the house we tossed the rags used for touching up and wiping off into the washing machine on a Sanitary wash. That might have been a disastrous mistake. 4 “tub clean” self cleaning cycles later and it still reeks. Is there anything I can do? Please help if you have experience with these products.

Yikes. I've never heard of this happening. That said you need something that will pull the petroleum off the drum, oil and water don't mix thus your problem.

THIS IS NOT A RECCOMENDATIONpure speculation so grain of salt needed. Cascade or similar may break down the oil and flush it out.

I would call Miracle Sealants, Washing Machine Manufacturer, Cascade before doing any of this.

Washing machine odor

Try wiping the tub down with vinegar and than add some vinegar and backing soda to the wash and run a cycle

Hate to argue with old Fred, but mixing vinegar (acid) and baking soda (alkaline) together doesn't seem right to me. One negates the other. I think I would follow the vinegar treatment with the baking soda.

The best thing to do would be to call Miracle Seal.
