Question Shower Floor Retile, Help!

Hello All!

This is my first posting. This site and its users seem to be informative, so hopefully someone can help me. Here's my problem:

I have a shower in the basement bedroom of my home (I have only owned it 6 months). The shower space itself is not very large at all, only about 3' x 3.5'. Several of the tiles on the shower floor have broken, and I would like to retile the shower floor or the entire shower. I have never attempted a project like this before, but since the space is pretty small, I want to try to do it myself. I have been looking for DIY sources that may help me to learn how to do this properly, but I haven't found anything yet. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

Nikki

Hi Nikki

as the best first step - get "da book" (Tile Your World by John Bridge)

It's available on this site (link on the top left)

Also checkout the liberry on the blue bar above. They have some great articles on shower construction.
