Paul,
how does the greenskin bond to the wall? Is it similar to kerdi?

Greenskin is waterproof. Aluminum has the lowest perm rating of any material on the face of the planet. The waterproofing layer of GS is atomized Aluminum. The glue on the back of the greenskin sticks too well to everything. We press it onto the vacuumed drywall.
Tech Dept at Devcom told me to go for a 2" overlap, as the same overkill as Kerdi. We roller the GS flat to the substrate with the rubber floor roller. It works really well to get rid of the air bubbles and wrinkles. As mentioned above, we added Hydroban to the seams that see water on the floor. The walls have larger than 2" vertical overlaps and are 'shingled' when applied.
The marketing dept at GS decided not to pursue showers as a market share but to concentrate on flooring.

The Last of 4092 pieces
what a crawl, the creep and lag of a 125 year old floor. The hours cutting.
The last of 4092 pieces went in last night, grouted and done this morning.
The most painful floor I've ever been a party to install.

Neil, This floor is so nice. I know how hard it is to get the angles and cuts perfect every time and I've only done this on a much smaller scale. You naild this install and it's one you'll always be proud of. I would love to see this one in person someday. Great job!

I have not done that pattern, but I can clearly see the effort it would take.
Awesome workmanship there!

Looks great Neil. Gives me a reason to visit Cincinatti.
I hope you made money on that too. As we know great work is hard, making a profit from it is even harder.
Are you going to tell us where this is so we can visit in person?

I think we need a name, address, or something. It may be a new landmark in town. I'd certainly make it point to stop in and check it out. It would help remind me never to agree to lay something like that!
Awesome execution Neil!!

Great work everyone!
Neil, absolutely amazing floor! I cannot even fathom how painstakingly tedious that floor would be to do. Much respect man
Paul, I've often considered using Greenskin as a waterproofing but never had the balls to try it. Bold move man!
Me, I just been slapping down Crossville's in a car dealership and that's exactly what I'll be doing day n night for a while. Those pallets just don't disappear as fast as I wish they would!
