I just hope you got PAID!!! And I mean charged ALOT! Awesome work. 2 years ago we rented a house on Marco Island. The tile and stone work on this supposedly million dollar house was atrocious. The pool stone work was hideous. You are a master of the pool tile.

After seeing the old, neglected library sign outside of the Heights Library, I decided to put my tiling skills to work and volunteer to design and build a new sign for our local library. It's made from the classic blue and white mosaic tiles that grace the curbs throughout the Heights. Easier to read, and a little larger, the new sign better matches the historic charm of our neighborhood.

Core is 2 inch kerdi board. The 1" daltile mosaics were set with the silicone method developed by Robert Ault. The grout is his special silicone too. The columns and framing are PVC. The sign should need zero maintenance aside from an occasional cleaning. It helps that I live 3 blocks away to keep an eye on it.

Dunno why the pic didn't post the first time.

The neighbors are thrilled.

I wonder if the library system will have anything to say about it since I didn't ask for permission.

Nice work, Paul! You should get an library card for life now.

Dare I ask how many hours you have in that?
