Walls & Ceiling got the base coat of drywall mud today. Then we K-boarded the shower, banded the seams and screws, and set the Laticrete drain. We may get some tile in tomorrow

Paul, why do not just use the adhesive caulk over the screw / washer on your KERDI board? It's much smoother than KERDI Band.

I use my finger. I have paper towels and a can of mineral spirits nearby. I have found that running my finger over a piece of scrap Kerdi does very well too.

I was starting to 2nd guess floating all these walls, but today, as the glass was going up, I did right by my intuition. It looks bad ass and dead flat.

Nice work Joe, those lines are nice and straight.

@ Hammy. We normally do smear a nice goober of whatever tube of silicone is open, but since we were photographing this one for the New Niche Get-The-Grout-Lines-to-Match Thread, I decided to use the patches. All 83 of them.

And we're installing 12x24's

Joe,

What are you using to set that glass?

I got some Megalite rapid like you told me about awhile back that stuff is sick and so is the price.
