Today is Codys 5th. birthday as we see it. We call him "skid mark" because the other side if his body is mostly skin where he had been hit by a car. He got a nice T-bone bone (raw) on his special day.

Richard, he is one adorable little guy. And what do you mean raw??? How about a little garlic and pepper, then thrown on the grill? Shaka is partial to chicken done that way.

Might want to think twice about that garlic on the chicken
"Onions and garlic contain thiosulphate, the chemical that makes them toxic foods for dogs. If you feed onions or garlic to him regularly, his red blood cells may weaken and literally fall apart. The thiosulphate can reach toxic, even deadly levels, if he eats too much of either food. Without treatment, severe anemias and death can result from overeating these toxic foods."

Onions, human toothpaste, chocolate, and coffee are all big no-no's for the pooches.

Tom-tom, lets call him#23 of the posse took serious exception to his first jab. BAD allergic reaction. Blood in urine etc. Vet came to the house gave him anti-histamine jabs and panadol (tylenol) and by cracky last night he ate for the first time in a week. M had been hydrating him with saline-glucose-water and milk for a week using a syringe to force feed him. He had us worried but he pulled through. Of course it now means that he is off the for-sale list

I heard M has YOU for sale.
From the Kuwait Daily News classifieds;
FOR SALE CHEAP large housebroken (mostly) English Sitter. Runs errands and occasionally gets them right. Needs fenced yard and constant behavior reinforcement also drools. Lovable but goofy, prone to simulating intercourse with legs. Call at 555-1411.

Flat.......
Pop over to the "post a picture" post and check out the neat black cat type pet Jerry made in workshop. He should sell these things kind' like a pet rock or a gia-pet thingy. If he covered em in kerdi they may even last fer' more than two weeks :---)
Be water proof anywho.

Ashvin, what is it about that breed that they love water and their floats!?? BTW, we also lived in San Jose for many years. Saw it change and grow.
As for garlic, Shaka is on a vet recommended diet and the garlic is part of it. She has two vets (one in PHX and one in the mountains) and both said it was good for her. It is the powdered version, not whole. The side benefit is no vampires at our house.

Anybody else have a dog who rests his head on your hand while it's on the mouse because he wants attention? See ya!
