I'm never surprised by out cat, Toby. He thinks he's at least half dog because Sam (our dog) raised him from about 6 weeks old. Of course Sam thinks he's part cat. What a crew.
I took these of Toby this morning while we were having coffee and breakfast in the sunroom. In the first one he is just content to sit in the sun. In the second he gave in and decided to have a long nap.

Awww, Toby looks so happy in that window!
Here are a couple of pics of some of my pets. First is fat Jack, who ironically loves to sleep on the treadmill. LOL
Then is Bella, my dog I found in a parking lot. She's the most devoted creature ever.

I am sooo glad to see some posts in here. Gunner's mom and dad have rudely taken him back to the Pacific NW for the Summer, so we are without a furball.

Our first camping/beach trip without our Tippy. (She died Christmas morning.) A few tears on the drive down. We still have three though and that's more than any sane person should. No pics this trip. Incredibly bad weather. we've had all that stuff that went through Mississippi two days ago and the rest of the southeast. Rough stuff.

We had 1.5 inches of rain out of the system, but missed all the nasty stuff. I hope you get at least a little good weather for your trip.

Adrianna, I thought about painting our mob once, but the buggers were too quick, I missed and ended up having to clean up 5 gallons of signal red gloss.

One large bucket of gloss red? Therein lies your problem. The dogs obviously do not like the color. Besides: they are all individual creatures with their own (very discriminating!) tastes and aesthetics.
The solution? Get some sample sized containers of all different colors - you have enough dogs to warrant each color from any of the major manufacturers' catalogs anyways. The dogs are way more liable to stand still for this treatment, and the wife would love you for the veritable rainbow of wall colors she will then inherit.
Post pictures.

Coupla of pics of our houndies - Sammy is fawn colored, originally from the Tucson track, Redfern is the tuxedo black, rescued from Guam. Not hard to tell Redfern is pretty much in love with his mom.
Redfern can easily clear the tailgate of my truck by jumping without taking a step. Looks like a gazelle he's so graceful.
