Customer wants plank on this floor, 2000 sq. ft continuing through all rooms. That high spot is right in the middle of the kitchen and hallway. I shoud've taken pictures of the framing for the shower walls, with a 10' straight edge and my 5' Stabila, studs were out of plumb 3/8" , I didn't even bother checking squareness.

Here's a shower that I am ripping out and replacing. The first couple of pic show nails in the top of the curb. The 3rd and 4th show water sitting in the pan, (no pre-slope). And the last one show how water will need to flow up hill to make out the drain.

Hey, for FL, that's actually pretty good. At least they used a liner!

Brad,
I am suprised that it lasted as long as it did, they cut so many corners. Inside the shower itself, they nailed the liner correctly at the top, however they brought the Perma base all the way down and screwed it off with in 3" of the floor. All the way around it.

Betcha I've torn out at least a hundred where the drain was set high like that. Must be in the plumbing code.

yeah thats great !
check out this root that broke into the toilet pipe somewhere under the home.
it grew out from under the toilet behind it , they cut it off a few times and
didn't know what it was.
the house is probably 40+ years old from the old pipe and rusted flange.
I think they have some problems ahead of them.
