This might be a stupid question but... How far do you hang the bullnose tile edge off the edge of what you are tiling.
Is it just enough for the thickness of the tile or the tile thickness plus the mortar? And if the latter is true than what should the thickness of the mortar be. ( I am tiling a front porch with 13 x 13 tile , if that helps )

Hi Erich

good question...Yes, allow for the thickness of the tile plus thinset. The thickness will vary depending on the tile, trowel, and substrate. Your best bet is to install the vertical pieces first, and then run the bullnose and floor tile from there.
