Enhance porcelain tile?

I searched before posting this and couldn't find an answer.

Just installed this tile from Home Depot and it looks good but when you wipe it down with water it looks great. Can I use a sealer and enhancer on porcelain like this?

Its been grouted.

I read the questions and answers on that tile and the manufacturer replied to a question saying they don't recommend sealing the tile. But I want to know if it can be done and done without the risk of it failing later and getting blotchy?

I'm not aware of anything else other than an enhancer that would richen up the colors....is there anything I'm missing?

I'd be hesitant to do anything against manufacturer's instructions. What I'd probably do is find a commercial-grade floor wax and go over it with that.

Whatever you choose, (sealer, wax, etc.) I'd advise you to try it on an extra tile first, let it dry for a day, and see how it looks before going over the entire floor.

You can apply enhancer or sealer to any surface, including a mirror. You wipe it off after applying, and the only benefit comes from what oozed into open pores. Porcelain has no open pores, so it won't have any effect. The grout may darken up a bit, and will be more water resistant, but not the tile. Porcelain with a glass is usually about as porous as a mirror.
