T-Molding and Kerdi underlayment

I'm using Kerdi underlayment on a floor and I want to put some T-Molding along the edge for a transition strip.
My question is do I install the T-Molding track down before I put down the Kerdi or on top of it?
It's going to be tile to wood flooring but they want the tile lower than the wood floor because they will be putting a washer and dryer in that area so in case the washer overflows (there is a drain already on the space)

I'm curious why you'd be using Kerdi in that application, John. The only floors Schluter recommends that membrane for are shower floors. They generally recommend their Ditra for other floor installations.

Depending upon the type of T-molding fastening strip, I don't think it would make much difference, but I'd be inclined to fasten it directly to the subfloor in most applications I could think of. 'Specially if you were using Ditra instead of a membrane such as Kerdi.

My opinion; worth price charged.
