don't lift heavy tile boxes from the truck ever again

Hi fellow remodeling pros and DIY's,

My name is Bob and I've been working in construction for over 30 years. After the housing collapse of '08/09 I decided to invent a new product that would help save the sore backs of every construction worker out there.

I invented a loading ramp with wheels. I am not sharing this post to be a spammer or advertiser, I just want to hopefully help some folks to their job with less strain. We all know the more fun part of the tile job is unloading the truck and all those heavy boxes of tile. NOT!!! ha ha, well at least now it won't be as tiring. The new JET BUM ramp just went on the market 08.14.15 It works really well at getting all the heavy stuff out of the pick-up truck on to the job site. Please check it out and tell me what you think.

I have a hard time sympathizing with any contractor that shows up on a project with a truck like that and then complains that his back hurts and his truck is hard to unload. I've got an invention... it's called a van. Or at least a trailer.

Right, I still keep my 1987 flatbed 9000 pound capable* trailer around for hauling pallets of material. Its only 15 inches above the ground.

Although we've been known to haul a bobcat or 3 pallets of drywall or 3 pallets of slate tiles....

We picked up some of the grocery store rollers and supports, worked great. We also had a C-60 with a liftgate and pallet jack.

Suppose it could be handy if everything was stacked on a nice flat stable supported base.

Also, I do enjoy watching people struggle loading/unloading a lifted "work truck"

Sorry CX, I'm not looking to stir up trouble, just get the word out on a great new product that's proudly made in USA. I'm from the construction world. Ever since I was 14 years old, I've been struggling to load trucks until now. My 46 year old back is paying the price now LOL. Just thought some of your readers would like to see a cool new tool for loading heavy boxes of tile, stone, and veneer. Even if you don't have a lifted truck it's still really tough to lift a box from the tailgate to your dolly. Totally understand if you pull the post and there will be no hard feelings. I won't re-post anything related to my invention.

Well for what it's worth I like it ,I recently could've used that to get a 300 pound box out of the back of my truck by myself ...

Thanks e3 Eric! I like to hear all the feedback, and I do appreciate and value everybody's input whether positive or negative. It will help to make my ramp better and more adaptable. I managed to load a 300-400 lbs concrete pot by myself. The plywood cargo-sled that I use really grips the wheels nicely and helps to slow your cargo when unloading. You could barely move this pot on the ground with a hand-truck dolly and I managed to push it up into a pick-up truck. I want to be known as the MADE in USA lower back saver!
