Not saying Flexcolor is bad at all but the "premixed grout" sign is a misnomer. It's "ready to use" . Premixed grout is at HD next to the premixed thinset.

Have used tons of Flexcolor. Awesome grout. Not for every job but a pro knows where and when to use a specific product. Also, buying from a distributor who sells to the trade, and is not a retailer, provides training on all the products they sell through the manufacturers reps. A valuable resource.

Ah, now I see your point. Yes, we prefer 'ready to use' when describing Flexcolor CQ.

I guess we lost Matt? I have used F&D materials on the a few jobs recently. The HOMEOWNER found them, they picked them and paid...I installed. As far as the quality. the porcelain that I got was very nice material. the Ceramic, not so much. Like MANY tile stores,shops,distributors...WE are getting less quality than we used to. That said, it STILL is up to us to inspect and have a conversation with the person PAYING for the job to be sure we "show and tell" before we set the FIRST piece. After that, it's on us.....

I have a client who refuses to go to arizona tile (any tile store) and only wants to shop at f&d. They are under thr impression that f&d only sells the best stuff.
The sales person at f&d told my client that the reason f&d doesn't have matching trim tile for most of their products is because most people are using schluter style metal trims.

Any of you guys see this being true?

I am neither clever nor funny

I think that might be the trend at Floor and Décor because Floor and Décor doesn't have the bullnose. Same at Home Depot and Lowes.
