Looks awesome!

How did you end up tying in the drain? Did you use Kerdi or a traditional liner? Also, how did you attach the pivot hinge of the door without compromising the waterproofing? Stubbed screw method?

Redguard and the divot method. Iím not sure how the shower door guys did the pivot. Can you explain this stubbed screw method?

To avoid penetration of the waterproofing layer on a horizontal plane, you only drill a hole deep enough to avoid puncturing the layer. Then, instead of screwing your door hinge onto the substrate with long screws, you cut the screw to match the length of the hole. Then, usually you embed that with an epoxy. That way, the hinge has lateral support through the screw and will not compromise the waterproofing.

Do you know how it was installed? Most door installers love drilling through the waterproofing because "they never had a problem."

I had a similar discussion with my door guy. My curb is capped with a 3cm thick granite piece. I INSISTED they only drill the depth of the granite and not into the curb. I also witnessed the drilling. He would not give me a guarantee that the door would bust the granite and fall off. I said I accept the risk....

all 3 of the shower door quotes I got said they drill deep into the curb and just fill the hole with silicone then screw it in. I would not budge on not letting theat happen....
