Laticrete 4237

Much to my surprise, after using 4237 for over 40 years, Laticrete has discontinued the product. I use it to mix with silica and portland to use as a bond coat to the back of stone slabs and pavers when fresh setting. Does anyone know of a similar product from another manufacture?
Thanks, Joe

MAPEI's Keralastic springs to mind, Joe.

I've frequently used Thoro's Acryl 60 when I needed serious concrete durability. Never used it to make a bonding agent, but I think it might work well in that application, too.

Hi Joe,
254 Platinum is a premixed product that is recommended as a slurry bond coat as well as a high performance thinset. 254 Platinum is a LATICRETE approved substitute for 211 Powder mixed with 4237 Latex Additive.

Thanks Sharon, I talked with a tech adviser at Laticrete and he said the same thing. Though I have used the 254 Platinum before, I have not used it for this application but it looks like that is the direction I need to go now. thanks,
