How do you guys think this looks is it to big ?

Just a quick couple questions: did you seal the pipe penetrations to the waterproof cement board before tiling? And are you going to finish waterproofing the niche before you tile the rest of the way up the wall?

Looks like at least one side of the niche is waterproofing directly over a framing stud.

I don’t know what is going inside the beveled chair rail above the scroll piece, but I think the scroll tile doesn’t look right because it seems to be starting “in the middle of nowhere”.
