Glass tile ideas and codes

I'm looking for glass tile ideas for tiling shower stalls and wondered if there are any codes that apply to glass tile. As a glass window or shower door in a shower has to be tempered by code. If glass tiles in a shower were say 6x6, Would they need to be tempered? Some of the mozaic 1x1 tiles are very sharp sometimes as well.

No codes that I am aware of. However, the reason for tempered is cause if someone was to fall through the window you don't want them cut to shreds. You can't fall through a glass tiled wall.
