Thanks for the kind words guys/gals. Now we have to sanitize our entire house and yard because he might have had Parvo, and we don't want to get our 4 yr old black lab sick either, even though he's had the shots when he was younger. Such a tragic illness.

Sorry for your loss, Mark.

When you're ready for a new friend, he'll be waiting for you at your local animal shelter.

Here are some pictures of our "Boys" - Sam and Toby. Sam has finally learned (after 6+ years) that squirrels run up trees. Toby thinks he has to stick close to us since we got back from the beach. He likes to hang out in the bathroom to sleep and groom himself.

the one on the left is captain mcdrinky pants. 2.5 year old Puggle with about $5k in surgeries under his belt. the one on the right is the new addition, hailey. 8 month old border collie rescued from the humane society that busted a puppy mill....too smart for her own good, and almost too smart for me!

This is tough. Our vet concurs Shaka is in pain and he is not opposed any longer. Her spirit is amazing and her love is strong. Her body is starting to truly betray her. We're going through the emotions...the wanting to hang onto her, the hope she isn't hurting too much, the guilt that we have been selfish, the desire for her to be free of pain and running wild in the afterlife..and the wanting to just be able to hug her, bury our heads into her and snuggle.

This really sucks.

We feel your pain. Scooter, we believe has lymphoma. Had a biopsey on Tuesday and we should get results today. All of his glands are really swollen.
Groomer noticed it about a month ago and they just get bigger and bigger.

Marge, I'm sorry.

Jerry, I hope for the best for your family and your doggie.

All of you were so supportive when I lost both my puppies within a short period of time, it helps a lot.

Keep us posted, if you are able.

Marge, we were in the Vet's office holding Missy's paws when the vet eased her out of her pain.

Want to hear something strange? Mikey occasionally likes to go to sleep after putting his paw in one of our hands and insists on keeping it there.
