I can't find that product, Paul.

I've used SikaFlex Construction Sealant a number of times, and I can find a SikaBond Construction Adhesive, with which I'm not familiar, but no reference to a SikaFlex Construction Adhesive.

Jim, I can't find the ASTM C920 data for Kerdi Fix and I have none on hand to look at. You have access to that?

The SikaFlex Construction Sealant I've used has good specs, but appears to be lacking the Use I (submersible?) designation. I've tested it submerged in water, but never used it in an actual submerged application. Seemed to hold up quite well under water in my testing.

The big advantage to its use for me was that it usta be available at my local Home Depot. Not so, Kerdi Fix.

[Edit] Brad, I hadn't seen the post you slipped in there. That product doesn't appear to be tested at all as a sealant, so I suppose it depends upon just what you're using it for whether it's a good replacement for Kerdi Fix, eh? I've not seen nor used that product, either.

FWIW, GoBoard has a downloadable alternative sealant list on their website. It's for sealants that they say can be used with their products. I'm sure they would work with other foam boards as well. I remember Sika being mentioned on their list.
