Granddaughters are spending the long weekend with us.

We're planting a vegetable garden, and painting some cable spools Nancy brought home from work. We're going to use them as picnic tables around the property.

I start 200+ ft of walls tomorrow at noon and a 50 ft floor in a commercial bathroom that has to be finished by monday. Its in an OBGYN, and it "HAS" to be done, no excuses. Before we start we have to demo a floor, remove all the wall fixtures, baby changing station, mirror, grab bars, towel dispenser, scent dispenser etc, sink blah. It all has to be put back when we're done as well. Should prove to be an intersting weekend. Hey, I have work

Camping

The wife, dog, and I are taking our pop-em up camper for it's maiden voyage to a little out of the way campground far from the beach in the middle of nowhere. This is the first weekend since January that I have not worked on our bathroom remodel.

We're taking my father, a World War II veteran, to Libbey Park in Ojai for a Memorial Day service and concert. Speeches by veterans and a big band concert with music from the Big Band era, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman and more.

Had to work last PM, got up and mowed today, going out to eat tonight since it's' mine and Mrs. Kman's 18th anniversary, work again tonight. Taking it easy Sunday and Monday. Both boys out of town, and it's quiet here. That's a good thing.

Would be nice if our President was planning to show some respect, what a disgrace not going to Arlington,
