Scott Brown

Well we might be able to save whats left of America from the Dems. That last thing this country needs is government run health care

Obama did not help when he picked on people who drive trucks.
Then he said he did not think Scott Brown ever fought for the people...hmmm Mr. President I know you were not talking about the Lt Col Scott Brown.

No Dave.

The Presidency is fleeting but a senate seat is forever

This was a special election to fill the remaining term on the seat that Ted so graciously gave up.

Brown will have to run for reelection in 2012.

Conspiracy theory.

Obama wants health care reform because he promised it but is aware that the tanking US economy cannot pay for it so he engineer's Scott Browns election win knowing that his presence in the Senate can effectively kill the bill affording the Dems the opportunity to blame the GOP all over again.........

It's a breath of fresh air, but it will become a gush just as soon as Mud Maker gets here.

It is particularly inspiring, happening is a state like Mass. There is still some hope for that place.

Brown was interviewed this morning, and when asked about the other states, he uttered words to the effect that the states should be deciding matters for themselves. He says he believes everyone should have insurance, but no "one size fits all" plan is acceptable. We'll need to feel him out a little on the constitutional aspects of the healthcare issue.

One of the best parts is that he ran as a conservative, not middle of the road and still won a seat in a place where no conservative has won since 1952 when JFK took it. The people have spoken LOUD.

Scott Brown supported the 2006 Massachusetts healthcare reform, which forces state residents to buy health insurance. Maybe I don't understand what a conservative is these days.

Fifty dollars is the new twenty dollars. Less evil is the new good.

Why get out of the swamp when you can just sink into the swamp more slowly?

Dan - A part of me wants to see the wheels come completely off so we can have a nice new revolution and start over. I think a couple of successful terror attacks on the country, coupled with the crushing debt and out of control spending we have would just about do it.

Mostly I hope that this past year has made enough of an impression on folks that we start the process of getting back to a smaller, more fiscally conservative federal government.

Brown's win in MA has provided a shock to the system. Whether it is enough to alter the course of our downward spiral I don't know. I am hopeful though.

and NO, it ain't gonna change much cause when Brown gets to D.C. he too will change just like alla the others.. The only thing that will help stop that is term limits.. We need guys heading to D.C. that run on Term Limits platforms or hidden platforms.. whatever..
We need changes, and the best we can do is promote one by one candidates that support us..... Now how do we do that? To date it's been haphazzard but it needs to be organized...

We have term limits, Frank, we just don't exercise them.

If we're to more than pretend to have a government of the people, the people have to involve themselves. We don't have that.
