Love that bathroom, Brian. Nice pattern, (other) Brian, good to hear more good words about the ecogrip, someday I'll need to use it.

Nichebox center pillar- basically a spacer block, good thing Jondon left me that scrap of 2" k-board the other week. Laminate 1/2 piece on w/ hardie ribs, now at a heavy 2 3/4" thick. ran some K band around the edge, all rapid set.

Set on top of tile. right height, much less stress than trying to make it in framing beforehand. Set all these stupid skinnies on the curb while the shelf is drying.....

Gueuze, did you use the Katwyk glue gun for all those soldiers on the curb? And great use of Kerdi-board, it's becoming a niche-man's best friend these days. And a bench-man too.

Happy saturday! first day off from the field in 3 weeks!

here's a couple pics(first pic is through a huge shower window) of my durango limestone schluter shower....bullnosing complete, a few deco pieces on monday and a little tru color grout and bam!

Nice work everyone.
Here is a dog wash/slop sink I just finished. I built the base out of 4" block and left a void in the block to inset a hose bib. I attached a piece of Caesarstone against the back of the block for the hose bib to attache to.
The plumber ran up the 2" drain pipe in the corner and thats where we insalled the cheap drain. I floated the floor to the drain and painted the heck out of it with aqua defense. I plugged the drain and water tested it over the weekend. Then I tiled it with some tile I got for free from a friend that does alot of commercial work and I think it looks fine

Or you could have one a them traps on top of the tile before it gets down in there, never used one myself don't have that need yet....lol

Made a little more progress today got through doorway to curved staircase landing. No way to take 300 lb door off hinges so I had to work around the door, fun, fun. Now just have to finish that area, and some more cutting. Hoping to wrap up the tile Monday, grout tues. morning.

Should I use white or black grout........lol

Here is one of 8 showers Im wrapping up.Wish I could take a sledgehammer to it.Colors are very funky.Not my taste at all.Ceilings are out 1/2''.Walls had to be frankenfloated and some were out 3/8''.Thank God my boys are getting big.They are my best help.Went thru 8 guys lately.Literally.

I just take orders.No grout pics....painters have it masked off and are spraying.I got more pics of showers...

My local distributor tore down a Kerdiboard display and gave me some 2" scraps. I pewt it to good use to box around some plumbing in this shower.

Also using Standing Pebbles by Silestone. Very cool.
