Little scary when the plumber says he does tile, too, though.

Thanks for all the welcomes....
I have to admit, yeah most plumbers don't seem to fit the bill. I'm just a bit different. I've been doing tile off and on for about 7 years actually, but plumbing double that. I'm extremely anal with my work, so, seems to work well with tile
I've even been to the schluter class (imagine that) lol
btw, it's a sign of how thin it's getting out there. It's worked extremely well for me to be able to do a custom shower all on my own. Plumber has never messed me up yet 
and for the record, It's easier/faster money plumbing.... but I think things will balance out better with time.
