Very nice Ray!
Your cousin must live over on the Paia side. That is close to the beaches the kitersurfers like. Just a guess.
A friend of mine helped me out on some jobs out here couple years ago. He learned to surf on Lake Michigan.
I would never have learned to surf anywhere a wetsuit is required.
Now back to the work.

A back splash my fellow setter Doo-Rock(Jim P) and i finished up today. 3"x6" Limestaone,1"x1" glass. I wanted to see how the other half lives! Not too shabby for 2 commercial hacks.
Note: No tiles were harmed in the installation process by the use of mastic.

not bad, but you're missing a piece of Schluter beside the window frame.
Personally I don't like to put Schluter with stone, just polish the edges a bit.

Its a bull nose top by the window. Put the metal edge on the one end cause that's what the paying customer wanted. I would have liked to do it your way.

Looks great even!
Gotta love those cooktops, I hate it when I go to do a backsplash and forget to bring along something for a ledger behind the slide in range.

Jeremy, don't you use a non sag thinset?
Mostly all my back splashes I use 4xlt or the Laticrete glass tile adhesive.

Nice Splash Evan and Jim, like the feature area hind the stove good choice
Installed the tub deck splash area yesterday in the Harrisburg area using the same feature band as in the shower, still have to clean up the stones and seal. Little tiling left. Nice to see the floor finally after having the saw set up in there and tearing it down.
Over in Cleona this morning to talk about a new shower installation, while there I got a finished shot of the kitchen where I did the flooring and Warmly Yours Radiant Heating. Dolce Vita 18" with SpectraLock grout, always nice to see everything finished and in it's place.
Couldn't get good lighting shot in the kitchen first pic lotta natural light coming in behind me, second one coming in towards me.

Just finishing this one up. Needs some more penetrating sealer and I'm done.
This stone was unreal, the shower walls soaked up nearly 4 liters of sealer before I was able to grout without the grout drying up in seconds.
Never worked with anything so thirsty before.
Took a bit of time to miter all those corners in the niches. But it does look pretty good I think.
The pan is grouted with Kerapoxy, so it should stay white. Should...

Very Nice Jon and John!
That is why we do this trade - The landscape changes when we are done.
Great feeling of accomplishment. ( Jon- Like that shot with the ESKs too!)
