Tub to Shower Job in Pompano Beach

Hello Wonderful People,

Here I am at a condo in Pompano Beach, Florida.

There is a tub in the second bathroom, that wants to be a shower.
Please see the image.

I'm looking for a mud & tile shower base to replace the tub, change out the water mixer, and shower head, plus a grab handle on the back wall.

Some one who can pull the HOA and municipal permits, please.

There are too many wannabees in Florida, I need a competent person for this.
Does anyone know of one in the Pompano Beach/Ft Lauderdale area??

This is a "For Hire", job, Dean? Are you the home owner?

Dan! Hello Wonderful Person

Yes, the last time I did a bathroom, I did it myself in New Jersey, and this forum was an amazing wealth of information that got me through it.

This time, I don't have the strength to deal with it alone.
Yes, I am the home owner. And...
Yes, this is a job for hire. And...
Yes, I'm looking for someone in the Pompano Beach / Ft Lauderdale area that can be trusted to pull the permits, and do the job for a reasonable fist full of dollars.

I do remember that this forum is full of quality tilers, many of which experienced in the conventional methods of slinging mud for the shower base in combination with Schluter Kerdi.

If didn't post in the right place, by all means replace this thread where it belongs.

Thank you.

Question Wait!! What?!

There's is no one in South Florida who does tub-to-shower conversions?
The old fashioned way with mud? ...and tiles?

You're in the wrong forum for your purpose, Dean. I've copied your initial post to the Professionals' Hangout and altered the title to better reflect your purpose. You can find the new thread here.
