That’ll help get your tile work done in a hurry. And have you booted from the job just as fast.

Put a straight edge over the seam to check how much deviation it makes. If your straight edge isn’t teeter tottering wildly. You can rub the edge down with a rub brick, orbital sander, scraper, grinder, planer, etc. (Anything that works) And you can feather out the seam with thinset and the flat side of your trowel.

I must say that I admire you pro's who do this for a living - this is a lot of hard work! Hopefully when I'm finished the personal satisfaction will out weigh the physical anguish, lol!
