Hmmm... Kraken Board/shower system - Use a giant squid as a logo.
Trocknen shower system - German word for dry
Bergmönch Board - German folklore character
Leviathan shower system - another bad ass logo

Definitely like the ocean theme for a board. Wish I said trident first Tonto

I like "trident shower systems" as well, but it's already taken. They make shower heads with built in soap dispensers. Thats the hardest part about this kind of exercise; it's easy to think of great names, not so easy to think of great names that aren't already being used...

Yeah, they're rather painfully aware of that, Nate, and that's the reason for their soliciting ideas here. They've had a large number of their own ideas shot down. I've seen lots of very creative thinking hereabouts over the years and I'm hoping to see some of it applied to this project.

They need a name that is NOT descriptive of the product. Those are the strongest marks, legally speaking. I wonder if they are allowed to even say "formerly known as USG Durock shower systems" or even allude to the history?

Any name that is kind of catchy, that is also a made up name...

Fantex Shower Systems

The mark Fantex is registered in the US, but only for financial services and medical textiles.

Really, any three letter word combined with TEX makes it sound kind of techy in my opinion, which is good.

If they can describe the company's history, they have some built-in reputation to ride off of, and the name isn't so important.

Turns out Fan Tex is the name of a particular ash tree. The logo could just be a tree silhouette.

This hybrid of the native Arizona Ash was selected for its superior tolerance of heat, arid conditions, and alkaline soil. Compared to other Ash trees commonly grown in our region, Fan Tex Ash has larger leaves that emerge earlier in spring and cling to its branches later into the winter.
Because they are grown from cuttings rather than by seed, the all-male Fan Tex Ash reliably forms a symmetrical, rounded canopy without developing the messy seed pods that are produced by female Ash trees. This tree also puts on a spectacular show of color in fall, when the dark green leaves dramatically change to golden yellow.

Make the fabric a golden color. Wonder if they can just keep the color scheme the same????

Good point. Look at some of the most stand out names such as yahoo and google. The name doesn't have to be descriptive, it just needs to roll off the tongue.

Lifetime shower system. For a shower that will last you a lifetime,or until you don't like the tile anymore, which ever comes first.

How about Mr. Shower...
I suggest this because I can give you the mr-shower.com url. It was a name we spitballed a while back and decided against using for reasons that would likely have nothing to do with your use.

Mr Shower is very weak trademark if you want to be able to protect it. It is very descriptive. Only a slight bit better than "Shower Waterproofing Systems"
