Question Time after laying tile but before grouting

Wow. First off, let me be the 100003325 person to say that this forum is awesome. Thanks to all of you who have already saved my project even though I haven't even begun!

Quick question: How long can I wait before grouting, even though I have put in my tiles. I want to lay the tiles before I go on vacation and then grout/seal when I come back (10 days lag time).

Also, I am using laticrete 317 for under the backerboard. I don't need an additive, right? I can just use that stuff (and a million screws).

Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can wait 10 days, that's not a problem. No additive in the thinset for using under the CBU. Use additive for bonding the tile.

Wait as long as you like before grouting. Just clean the joints 9 from excess thinset) as soon as possible.

You will need to wait 2-3 days after grouting before you seal..

Good..Fast..Cheap. Pick any 2...can't have all three
